You will become part of the growing Quality and Product Assurance group.  Within this team, you will be involved in all the production processes starting from the incoming of raw parts to the delivery of completed spacecraft.   You will be involved in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance in all the manufacturing phases of the D-Orbit products and spacecrafts. You will carry out activities to assure the applicable requirements and standards are met in the production process.   Tasks and Responsibilities - Performing visual inspections of PCBs, Mechanical parts, Wirings, Subsystems and SpacecrafPerforming checks to production documentation to assure readiness to manufacture. - Performing validation checks of reports. - Ensuring compliance of the product with respect to internal and external standards and requirements (monitoring operations, reporting inconsistencies). - Managing non-conformances, their solution and analysis of root causes. - Supervisioning critical activities such as Test Campaign and Launch Campaign. - Assuring instruments calibration in the company.   Additional duties may be assigned as needed.   Experience Required We are looking for the following experience: - Experience working as a quality inspector - Experience in the technical domains covered by the position - Experience with Space Quality Standards (and Space Standards in general), their implementation and of the space industry in general. - Experience with ISO9001 and/or EN9100 standard is considered an asset. - Knowledge of electronic inspection standards (Certifications such as ECSS-Q-ST-70-38, ECSS-Q-ST-70-08, ECSS-Q-ST-70-30 are considered a plus).   You will have many of the following skills: - Capability of working in autonomy - Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work well in a team setting to meet tight schedules - Natural inclination in finding weaknesses in processes and proactivity/creativity in finding solutions   Experience At least 1-2 years of proven experience in aerospace quality assurance.   Availability Requested availability for national and non-national business trips for short periods of time 1-2 weeks   Education Technical High School degree, in any relevant area such as electronic, aerospace or mechanical.   Language Full English professional proficiency

You will support the flight operations team in the execution of on-orbit validation tests during the real on-orbit mission.    Tasks and Responsibilities:    - Define and maintain the verification and validation strategy, model philosophy and plan;  - Define the systems and subsystems verification test plans and procedures;  - Manage autonomously the systems-level and OBDH s/s functional verifications, including the tests execution on the engineering models / flat-sat;  - Work within a multidisciplinary team of specialists on the systems and s/s design;  - Contribute to the systems and subsystems budgeting and integration within the project team;  - Support systems- and subsystems- requirements capturing & management, with focus on verification;  - Interface with prototyping technicians and with launch campaign team during the V&V campaign;  - Support the Flight Ops team for on-orbit validation activities throughout the mission execution.    Professional Experience:    We are interested in speaking to people with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in space, acceptable in other engineering domains, e.g. aeronautics.    Job Requirements:    - Experienced and autonomous in definition of test plans, test procedures and reports.  - Practical hands-on experience in test execution on engineering models / flat-sat or equivalent HW-SW testbench;  - Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and systems-level knowledge of all spacecraft subsystems, with particular emphasis on OBDH;  - Knowledge of data busses architectures;  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;  - Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team;  - Experience in the use of Matlab and Python;  - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.    Nice-to-have skills:    - Experience in environmental testing, including vibration on shaker and thermal-vacuum/thermal cycling.  - DOORS / Jama requirements experience;  - Knowledge of Linux.  - Knowledge of ECSS/NASA standards.    Education:    University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, acceptable in relevant engineering domains.    Language:    This role requires professional proficiency in English.    At D-Orbit, diversity and inclusivity are not just values, they are integral to our mission and the way we operate.
