As part of the CTO staff, you will contribute to the definition and development of the technical and technological roadmap of company spacecraft platforms and in general any technical solutions developed by the Technology Engineering team.   You will work on feasibility studies and preliminary technical assessments basing on inputs received from the Business Development unit and directly from the CTO staff. You will support the CTO office in monitoring the developments of D-Orbit spacecrafts (s/c) platforms and R&D projects.    As part of your duties, you will work together with relevant people from any other engineering department, including AOCS&GNC, Structure, Mechanism and Thermal, Software (ground and space), Propulsion, HW, RF&Telecom, and System Engineering. You will participate to the s/c platform development and have visibility over full design and development cycle of the systems platform, starting from the preliminary design and the requirements capture, systems and systems/subsystems design, analysis and trade-off, definition and execution of the s/c verification campaign, test plan and procedures, including tests on prototypes and real Flight Model s/c.    Moreover, you will support constant monitoring of company engineering processes to identify opportunities for improvement. You will post process data according to pre-defined metrics to create KPIs reports on overall engineering effectiveness. You will contribute to scouting for new tools/technologies to improve overall efficiency of processes / project teams. As an integral part of the group, you will be involved in the design, verification and validation, including launch and on-orbit operations of the various D-Orbit spacecraft platforms. As AIV engineer, your main focus will be on the verification and validation activities, including environmental test campaign and participation to the launch vehicle integration activities at the launch base. Your ultimate objective as AIV systems engineer is to verify ensure your systems, the spacecraft, is compliant vs the applicable requirements and validated against the user needs in the real operative mission.    You will work together with other systems engineers, following the full design and development cycle of the systems product, starting from the preliminary design and the requirements capture, preliminary systems architecture and detailed systems/subsystems design, analysis and trade-off, definition of the verification campaign, test plan and procedures, execution of the tests on first prototypes and final requirements compliance assessment. Particularly you will focus on requirements verification methods and compliance matrixes, verification and validation plan and technology development plan. You will define test specifications/procedures and actively participate in the execution of the verification activities, including reporting and data postprocessing to eventually demonstrate requirement compliance.
