We are looking for a Production Planner that will be part of our Manufacturing Coordination and Planning team. The Production Planner's responsibilities include the timing alignment between supply chain and production schedule and the monitor and update of the schedule to meet the production deadlines. He will be on the first line for the alignment of the activities with our ERP/MRP system recently implemented. The function will also require significant interaction with other company departments, such as Procurement, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mission Management. The Production Planner will play a significant role on the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. This is not a role for just a pure software test engineer but also for an experienced embedded software engineer because you will have to design and to develop applications for satellite simulator and test environment. You will become part of a growing software Verification and Validation (V&V) group responsible for ensuring software quality across a range of embedded and high performance applications in space. The main objective of your work will be designing and developing of HIL satellite simulator, improving the V&V infrastructure to enable the simulation of new sensors and actuators. The job will also focus on the automated test procedures for the flight software of avionic platforms used on board of our spacecrafts under development. Within a continuous integration environment, you will contribute to the entire application lifecycle with a focus on the test and integration. As components, you will actively follow mechanical and electric/electronics EEE components selection, including obsolescence study/mitigation, component database management, classification and maintenance, and supplier documentation review. You will also support the authoring of technical documents and technical specifications related to electronic/mechanical/pressure equipment, guiding both procurement and AIV/IVVQ activities, including for example PCB footprint and components blueprint and mechanical/mechanism technical drawings. You will interface with the various Engineering Disciplines, including Space Systems, Mechanical, Electronic, Propulsion and Prototyping, and other Company areas such as Quality & Product Assurance (QA&PA), Procurement, Incoming and Warehouse, to verify that the overall parts management and related technical documentation are compliant with the Company standards and processes.   Key Responsibilities: ·        Participate in the concurrent engineering process with the various engineering areas, particularly supporting in the Design-to-Manufacturing and Design-to-Cost aspects. ·        Responsible for preparing technical platforms/products specifications for procurement and prototyping/manufacturing, including authoring of Request-For-Information/Quotation. ·        Participate in the platform development / project reviews, particularly regarding the Parts Management and Procurement/Manufacturing technical documentation. ·        Responsible for preparing the necessary documentation to manufacturing handover of qualified platforms/products, including: o   Authoring and release of mechanical/mechanism technical drawing, work/assembly instructions, o   platform baseline release in coordination with QA&PA and Manufacturing Engineering areas. ·        Responsible to define and maintain the Technology Engineering Parts list, including: o   Identify new components basing on engineering and PA needs. o   Manage/update engineering parts list, including symbols, footprint/blueprint for any engineering parts, EEE, mechanical, thermal and propulsive. o   develop and maintain necessary tools and procedures to meet user blueprints. o   Monitoring parts obsolescence, select equivalent alternatives and support replacement decision-making, including preparation of parts trade-off analyses. o   Control and manage technical supplier documentation reports. o   Verify parts compliance with respect to Company applicable standards. ·        Support the procurement team in interfacing with external providers of parts and equipment. ·        Support the prototyping team in managing the AIV/IVVQ activities of prototypes and platforms undergoing flight qualification. ·        Support the PA team in procurement/manufacturing processes audit qualification.   Job Requirements: •       Relevant work experience of at least 1 year preferably in space industry, acceptable also aeronautic, automotive, railways engineering. •       Good knowledge of technical documentation data-package for procurement/production and parts management process. •       Good knowledge of at least one EEE and one Mechanical tool within the ECAD suite, with preference respectively for ALTIUM Designer and PTC CREO. •       Autonomy in technical authoring of technical documentation for procurement/production, including mechanical drawing, EEE and PCB procurement RFQ/RFI. •       Knowledge of the characteristics and use of the different parts families (EEE, mechanical, thermal and propulsive), including familiarity with component datasheets and specifications and understanding of parts critical parameters. •       Basic knowledge of engineering design and verification process, from requirements definition to qualification, and release of new platforms in production. •       Basic knowledge of platform/part configuration definition and baseline process. •       Proactive attitude and ability to work in team.   Preferred Skills: •       Knowledge of Team Center PLM. •       Knowledge of LN ERP.   Preferred Qualifications: •                 High school technical diploma or equivalent practical experience. •                 Full professional proficiency of English language is mandatory;   Education ·        University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering.   Language This role requires professional proficiency in English.   At D-Orbit, diversity and inclusivity are not just values, they are integral to our mission and the way we operate.
