We are looking for a  Product Assurance Manager to join our Team and become a  part of the growing Quality and Product Assurance group, with responsibility for the product assurance and safety of the platforms of D-Orbit. Within this team, you will drive the quality of the assigned business line and related projects composed by both platforms and services. You will report to the Head of Product Assurance. The Product Assurance Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of product assurance and the related safety engineering and management program of the entire cycle of the assigned LoB. You will carry out technological research (R&D) in the fields of PA&S management, techniques, methodologies and tools. You will collaborate in standardization and training activities. Tasks and Responsibilities ·        Prepare and implement general and project-specific programmatic and technical documentation as well as requirements starting from the applicable product and quality assurance baseline. ·        Responsible for preparing PA documentation for proposals of the assigned platform. ·        Responsible for estimations (duration and resource profile) of PA involvement in proposals / new internal projects. ·        Perform tailoring and statement of compliance on externally provided project requirements. ·        Manage Product Assurance deliverables status within specific projects and related RIDs and AIs from the Customer. ·        Ensure compliance of products and services with respect to internal and external standards and requirements. ·        Manage quality related user stories for the assigned business line. ·        Support technology roadmaps managing quality aspects. ·        Work in synergy with PA Engineering team providing PA&S guidance. ·        Work in synergy with project leading team providing PA&S guidance. ·        Coordinate and review the work of PA&S experts on specific projects. ·        Monitor and report about subcontractor and supplier quality to ensure compliance with applicable requirements; this includes auditing activities. ·        Support the establishment and the implementation of standards and best practices in the product and quality assurance field. ·        Support the implementation of the configuration management system on D-Orbit projects. ·        Manage non-conformances through root cause analysis and be NRB chairperson.     The PA Manager has the following experience: ·        Experience in leading PA&S topics within Space projects. ·        Experience working with Space institutional customers. ·        Experience working within a quality assurance environment. ·        Experience with Space Quality Standards (and Space Standards in general), their implementation and of the space industry in general. ·        Experience with EN9100 standard. ·        Experience working with requirements management tool. The PA Manager has the following skills: ·        Managing capabilities. ·        Ability to set plans and manage related tasks to comply with project schedule. ·        Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. ·        Capability of working in autonomy as well as in team. ·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ·        Ability to work in a team setting to meet tight schedules. ·        Mentoring capabilities. ·        Knowledge of any topics within configuration management, quality auditing or certification is considered a plus.   Experience At least 5 years of proven experience in managing space product assurance activities in multiple complex projects, experience with institutions is required. Education Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as electronic, aerospace or mechanical/materials engineering. Supplier Quality Engineer

Apply now and join us in shaping the future of space.   D-Orbit is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Product Assurance team. In this role, you will support the qualification, evaluation and monitoring of D-Orbit's Suppliers, ensuring the quality and compliance of delivered materials, components and sub-systems according to D-Orbit's standards. You will collaborate closely with national and international Suppliers as well as internal teams to resolve quality issues,  perform audits and implement continuous improvement of D-Orbit Supply Chain. Additionally, you will assist in developing and maintaining quality assurance processes to enhance the reliability and consistency of our Supply Chain, contributing to the success of our space missions.   Key Responsibilities:   •       Monitor Supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met. •       Perform surveillance audits of Suppliers. •       Support qualification activities of new Suppliers. •       Perform periodic reviews of Supplier performance. •       Collaborate with Suppliers to resolve quality issues. •       Management of Non-Conformities, requests for deviation/waiver. •       Collaborate with project teams to ensure the proper flow-down of requirements throughout the supply chain.   Requirements:   •       At least 2 year of professional working experience in Quality field with experience in production processes in space industry, aeronautics industry or alternative high-tech and complex industries •       Knowledge and field experience of production processes (e.g. electronic board assembly, PCB manufacturing, sub-system production, 3D printing, machining, composites, etc.). •       Proven diplomatic ability developed through relationships with Suppliers, Customers and Authorities •       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •       Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team. •       Open to travel (about 20%) •       Professional proficiency in English. •       University degree in Aerospace/Space Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering degree.   Preferred Qualifications:   •       Experience in space and/or aeronautics industry •       Experience in audit management •       Knowledge of EN 9100 standard •       Auditor (part I and II) according to UNI EN 9100 certified •       Fluency in Italian.   At D-Orbit, diversity and inclusivity are not just values, they are integral to our mission and the way we operate.
