Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Develop,optimize and maintain the thermal model of the satellite, ensuring it aligns with design specifications and performance requirements.
  • Conduct thermal predictions for flight scenarios including hot case and cold case analyses to ensure the satellite's optimal performance.
  • Correlate the developed thermal model with experimental results and flight data, analyzing discrepancies and refining models to achieve accuracy, reliability, and performance objectives.
  • Plan, conduct and evaluate thermal tests
  • Generate detailed analysis reports, effectively communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Develop scripts or tools to enhance results post-processing.

Job Requirements:


  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in developing and optimizing thermal models, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in using Airbus Systema Thermica or ESATAN.
  • Ability to conduct thermal predictions and analyses for various flight scenarios.
  • Skills in correlating model predictions with experimental results and refining models based on discrepancies.
  • Experience in drafting technical specifications and generating detailed analysis reports
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Familiarity with space standards such as ECSS is a plus.

Language:

  • Proficiency in both English and Italian is required.
