As part of D-Orbit AOCS engineering team, you will follow the whole lifecycle of D-Orbit's spacecrafts Attitude and Orbit Control Systems. You will support several projects in the design of the subsystem, taking part to the development of the flight algorithms and carrying out analysis for design and performance validation; you will have an active role in the verification cycle of the AOCS SW as well as HW testing during EM and PFM campaigns.    Tasks and Responsibilities:   - Support to the development of Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithms  - Support to ION Fleet verification for upcoming missions  - Carry out analysis for subsystem design verification (sensitivity, performance, stability, MonteCarlo, no-regression)  - Support to SW autocoding, Processor-in-the-loop verification and SW testing on EM spacecraft  - Support to HW testing, from equipments interface test to HW-in-the-loop and functional checks after integration of the platform  - Support to LEOP and orbital operations;  - Authoring of Technical documents.  - Interaction with other Subsystems, System Engineers and Manufacturing teams for the development and sustaining of new and current products.    Qualifications and Requirements:   - At least two years of working experience in the AOCS/GNC or relevant field;  - Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and space environment;  - Proficiency in use of Matlab/Simulink;  - Knowledge of AOCS sensors and actuators, Navigation techniques and Control theory;  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;  - Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team;  - Knowledge of C/C++ is an asset;  - Experience in SW and/or HW testing is an asset;    Education:   - Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, computer science or automation.   Language:   - Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.

We are looking for a Quality and Product Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will become part of a growing Quality and Product Assurance group, with responsibility for the Quality Management System at D-Orbit UK. Within this team, you will own the quality of assigned projects, technology developments and the compliance of the QMS to the EN9100 norm. System Engineer - Mission System Design

Seniority - 3-4 years' experience in relevant activities → Specialist System Engineer About this role D-Orbit is hiring a system engineer to join our growing system engineering team. As integral part of the group, you will be involved in both the customization of already flight-qualified platforms, such as the ION Satellite Carrier Vehicle, and the design of new advanced missions. Your ultimate objective as system engineer is to ensure your system, the spacecraft, will fly safe to orbit, deliver the services required by mission objectives and eventually successfully accomplish its disposal. You will work together with other system engineers, following the full design and development cycle of the system product, starting from the preliminary design and the requirements capture, preliminary system architecture and detailed system/subsystem design, analysis and trade-off, definition of the verification campaign, test plan and procedures, execution of the tests on first prototypes and final requirements compliance assessment. You will interface with the procurement team for scouting of new technologies and support in the procurement process of flight parts, with the PM team for periodic reporting, planning and management, with the manufacturing team and the AIV team for the definition of the test plan, procedures, and setup, and with the flight ops team to support the definition of the operational plan and procedures of the maiden on-orbit mission.
