We are looking for an Head Of Manufacturing Engineering to menage efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes. In this role, you'll oversee end-to-end production, including the design and implementation of new processes for upcoming programs, ensuring that cost, quality, and timeline targets are met. You will drive design-for-manufacturability improvements with engineering and design teams and lead efforts in process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and maintain production excellence.


Project: "Industrialization of a platform thermal model for effective compatibility assessment"


Scope:

The candidate will be enrolled in a training program accompanied by a tutor.

After a clear and complete understanding of the platform system with focus on thermal aspects, the candidate will design a simplified thermal model. This is oriented to either provide boundary conditions to the customer allowing him/her a technical assessment or ensure a customer internal technical onboarding feasibility being completed through a not specific thermal simulation software. This development will contribute to maximize the efficiency of the customer acquisition process.


Education:

Master degree completed in Space Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.

Competences:

Thermal engineering with basic knowledge of thermal modelling software (Systema Thermica is a plus)

System engineering knowledge


Logistic:

Availability from January 2025

Your ultimate objective as a systems engineer is to ensure your systems, the spacecraft, will fly safely to orbit, deliver the services required by mission objectives and eventually successfully accomplish its disposal.    You will work together with other systems engineers, following the full design and development cycle of the systems product, starting from the preliminary design and the requirements capture, preliminary systems architecture and detailed systems/subsystems design, analysis and trade-off, definition of the verification campaign, test plan and procedures, execution of the tests on first prototypes and final requirements compliance assessment.
