D-Orbit is looking for a Product Assurance Coordinator to join our Product Assurance team. As Product Assurance Coordinator, you will have the responsibility to coordinate the allocation of product assurance engineers on Company projects and products. You will report to the Head of Product Assurance. You will be responsible for the different Product Assurance disciplines. Your goal will be to provide the required support for the development and the execution of projects as well as during products lifecycle. You will also carry out technological research (R&D) in the fields of PA management, techniques, methodologies and tools. You will collaborate in standardization and training activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Standardize PA disciplines according to applicable requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate PA engineers allocation on Company projects.
• Manage and monitor the Product Assurance processes according to applicable requirements.
• Responsible of people Performance Management Process (PMP) for the PA engineers, including goals definitions, career growth, trainings vs competence gaps, yearly appraisal and rewarding process.
• Hiring manager for PA engineering roles, including screenings, interviews and candidates selection.
• Coordinate on-boarding of new hired in the PA engineering team.
• Support the definition and the implementation of standards and best practices in the product and quality assurance field.
• Provide support on non-conformances and related root cause analysis.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of proven experience in managing space product assurance activities in multiple complex projects, experience in managing team of SMEs.
• Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as electronic, aerospace or mechanical/materials engineering.
• Managing capabilities. • Experience with Space Quality Standards (and Space standards in general) and their implementation
. • Mentoring capabilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules.
• Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualification:
• Experience working with Space institutional customers.
• Experience working with NCR management tool.
• Experience with EN9100 standard.
• Experience working with requirements management tool.
• Knowledge of any topics within configuration management, quality auditing or certification.
• Fluency in Italian.
